City of Hancock Recreation Survey Open Now
The City of Hancock is developing a new Five-Year Recreation Plan for 2024-2028. Members of the public are being asked to fill out a survey to determine recreation habits and recreation site usage in the City of Hancock. The survey’s goal is to collect information on the types of recreational opportunities and sites community members would like to see developed, maintained, and/or improved. This information will help prioritize funding and increase the city’s understanding of community recreation needs.
The survey also gives the public an opportunity to give feedback or suggestions on the proposed improvements to recreation sites in the City of Hancock. Individuals can fill out the survey online or on paper. You can access a paper copy from Hancock City Hall (399 Quincy St. Hancock) or the Portage Lake Public Library (58 Huron St. Houghton). Public responses are due September 16, 2023 and are confidential; survey results will be included in the final draft of the 2024-2028 Five-Year Recreation Plan.
