Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Study

NEMT Draft is now available for review. The Western U.P. Planning & Development Region together with Eastern U.P. and Central U.P. Planning Agencies have completed a final draft of an assessment and analysis of non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) services in the Upper Peninsula.

This analysis is intended to help future funders, providers, and organizations better target and direct their limited resources toward the areas that would have the greatest impact and engage existing stakeholders in identifying the opportunities and barriers to service that currently exist.  When these are identified strategic planning can be undertaken to address and prioritize the most critical needs in the region.  

The document will be available for review and comment from November 19, 2021 through December 10, 2021.  Please feel free to provide corrections, revisions, elaborate on key challenges, and provide or expand on specific recommendations that you would like to see included on behalf of your organization.  Submit your input by December 10, 2021 to lmckenzie@wuppdr.org
