Four Recreation Plans Adopted

WUPPDR assisted five local governments with developing four updated five-year recreation plans effective from 2018 through 2022:

  • Baraga County
  • Gogebic County
  • Village of L'Anse & L'Anse Township (jointly)
  • Osceola Township

The plans establish communities' and counties' recreation goals, objectives, and planned projects over the next five years. A Michigan Department of Natural Resources-approved recreation plan is required for many of DNR's recreation grant programs.All recreation plans facilitated by WUPPDR in recent years are located here.
