Michigan Transportation Plan (MTP) Public Involvement Plan (PIP)

Dear Local Units of Government:MDOT is revising its 2035 Michigan Transportation Plan (MTP) to be extended to 2040. The Department is seeking comments on the Public Involvement Plan (PIP) that will be used to guide public input into the MTP revision process.The PIP is posted on MDOTs public website at www.michigan.gov/slrp. Please submit comments to Bob Parsons, MDOT’s Public Involvement and Hearings Officer, by e-mail (parsonsb@michigan.gov) or telephone (517-373-9534) by September 30, 2015.The final 2014 MTP will be presented for adoption at the Michigan State Transportation Commission meeting in May 2016.Thank you for your attention.
