MDOT is working to create better, safer roadways for all users by providing a variety of services and information supporting recreational cycling and bicycle commuting.
WUPPDR partners with the Michigan Department of Transportation to create and maintain the non-motorized trail plan and investment strategy for the Western Upper Peninsula. From 2021 through 2022 we have worked with the Central and Eastern U.P. regional planning agencies to update the plan for 2022. A draft is now available for review and comments until September 9.
